WAR (Warhammer Online)

I was thinking on this earlier and was curious... Does anyone think that EA Mythic might announce a release date at E3?  I know the release is set in mud right now, but maybe if things are going smoothly (or more smoothly than anticipated) during the first week of GB then maybe Mythic might give us a specific date... Or week... Or at least month....

Or is hoping for this pleasant news just me being naive?

They have as much as said that the Guild Beta that starts now will set the time line for release. Hence, GB with normal amount of problems will result in OB straight after that and then a pretty well defined release window in time. Things might turn a bit nasty in GB and then the release schedule will look very different.

Ergo: Guild Beta will define the whole release version plan and GB has not started yet (well...will probably start before Friday this week).

I doubt if a specific release date will be announced at E3.  I have a hunch that an official date won't be announced for a month or two.  Some REALLY BIG things need to be tested and it wouldn't be wise to announce a specific date this early on.

They are only this week starting guild beta and end game pve dungeions and cities.  So i highly doubt the game launch date will eb set at E3, I think the game will release in middle of november to the end of December imo, even January next year may even be likely.

Early november should be the shot, before WOTLK. Not to say WAR wont get alot of followers anyway (those of us so tired of WOW it doesnt matter)

Lol!  You're over shooting with your prediction.  It's highly doubtful that it will be beyond November.  Mark Jacobs himself has repeatedly said that it will definitely be released this fall.

i bet we'll get a 2-3 month range for sure.  and we'll see some great footage from it.

Thats why i said  I think november-december, and may be January.

Rember open beta's usually only last a few weeks and release dates are known 2 - 3 months ahead of time .  So I honestly think we will know a release date some time in augest.
