Has anybody herd about Mortal Kombat vs DC comics? I'm really interested in this game. It's gonna be like my Marvel vs Capcom in a weird sort of way. The trailer looks really good. I'm looking forward to seeing how this is going to turn out. Two dark universes in one game. Fantastic.

I think thats a pretty bad idea.. I mean most of the DC iconic characters are way overpowered.  I mean Superman vs Scorpion?  c'mon now, no contest.

Actually, it'll be a hell of a contest. The Realms are full of magic, as well as most of the Mortal Kombat contestants. Superman is not invulnerable when it comes to magic, it's one of his major iconic weaknesses. His only real protection is using the magic of the world he's in by saying the spells backwards. One such instance was when he was transported to Eternia in the Superman/He-Man crossover. He's also had to do this in some occasions when he's had to fight Zatanna when she was under a spell.
 

I'm not too excited about this since all the Mortal Kombat gore is going to be removed.  You're not gonna see anybody decapitate the other guy anymore because the DC people stated that to this point most if not all of their characters have been in "family friendly" situations and they don't want to change that.  The guy over at GUComics made a strip where you see zub zero and batman playing go fish instead of fighting.  They might as well give one another severe purpler nurples at the rate this is going.

No gore? Well it's a challenge, but honestly, I really do think they can make up for some simple blood and decapitating...I hope. I mean little content has been brought to the table and I think Spike is going to do a world sneak peak of the game. I'd still cross your fingers Illius. There has been a lot of games where there has been a sacrafice to actually make something good. Besides this is MK's first with this kind of style. So I guess you can treat it more of like a DOA / Soul Calibur type of game. They just better make up for it in the next MK game.

I'll see where it goes.  Who knows I might even give it a try.  However I was never really a fan of the MK games.  It was only a passing interest at one point.  I think I'll stick to the newer street fighter games or Rival Schools

Hey man I was watching on spike. There is blood/gore there. The gameplay seems really good and watching superman fight I was really suprised.
