OMG, stop bashing Age of conan!!! Lol, j/k. The picture was really funny. It's pretty true, but I can see some people getting mad about it, but I don't know why. It's just good humor. |

Wow is part of it. The other part is there are just too damn many MMO's. Even the crappy ones can take a few hundred people away. It spreads the non-wow group even thinner. |

True, there are just so many mmo's you can play now, whether they be p2p or f2p. Like you say the playerbase just gets spread. There will be just no game that will reach wows numbers again. When wow launched mmo's were not as popular in terms of numbers, and there was not as many options as now. Today it just seems there is just a wealth of choice. yeha peopel may not like 1 game or another, but the choices for all kinds of players are more than ever. Blizzard didnt have to contend with so many games, but now all new releases have to contened with so many more other mmos trying to be number 1. Only thing I can sya its just remarkable how blizzard has managed to retain its playerbase over the years. with the new expansion the game imo will only get bigger, or stay at its current number, but with so mnay mmos out, its inevitable it wll lose players, like with everything in life. |

I see Guild Wars is not on there. Does that means it wins? |

Great pic
At every lousy MMO released, WOW looks bigger and better. Soon it will be considered sandbox and hardcore. |

Uuuh, I utterly fail to see anything really funny in that picture, though. Thats because it has hardly anything to do with reality. I strongly doubt any failure in any of these games listed had anything to do with WoW at all. I have played Vanguard from its release and I have heard all kinds of reasons why people leave. Leaving for AoC or EVE, getting bored, too many bugs, too low population, busy in reallife, starting egoshooters instead, ... but not ONE of them left to play WoW.
