Aventurine put up convertible bonds for sale. Marfin Bank was just acting as a intermediary to sell the bonds through. "IF" anyone actually wanted to by any of Aventurines bonds the sale would go through that bank.

They did not get any money or loan from any bank.

This is the most epic thread I've ever read in my entire life. So, like the good troll I am, I feel I should contribute. I live very close to that place. I've been going though Kifisias almost every day for the last 5-6 years, going to work. So, here are my 2 hints:

1) the footbridge was build slightly before the olympic games (August 2004), to help with the accessiblity to the main premise of the Games, the Olympic Stadium) which is on the other side of Kifisias, around 10 minutes walking. Kifisias is a pain to pass walking. Its like the old game frogger :)

2) There are no houses there. On neither side, even 1 road parallel to Kifisias. We are talking about one of the most commercial roads and places in Greece and propably the whole Balkans!!! So whichever of the two suspect buildings it is, it is definitly not a house!!!! Its either a shop or an office building.

3) About the Parthenon shown in that picture. OMG this made me lauch so much! The parthenon is FAR away from Chalandri. So far that it could take more than 5 hours walking. And its not visible. Not even with a telescope.

4) The building on the other side of the road is a Suzuki car dealer.

These are my 2 cents. Feel free to ask about the area. I know it as good as my palm. :)

EDIT: Also, the company exists. Definitly. I know people that work there (friends of friends), and ppl that have been interviewed for a position. And they are making a "game". What we definitly do not know is at what state this project is. I suspect that it is nowhere near "feature ready"...

Well thank you very much for the info, pieces are starting to be fit together. The big question is Aventurine across the road from the dealership? I figured the PArthenon had nothing to do with the office just because of the setting of the pic it self it was open and sandy there was no way that was going to be near the other pic so I didn't bother using that as evidence to find the place, just ruled it out.

I think if HB, proved one thing, is that the darkfall devs need to get a grip on reality, and actually release a damn trailer with a full UI, or character customization or anything.

No company should have to be Investigated daily, questioned its exsistence, or have this much of a mixed faith, from fans and non fans alike.

Pure truth right there, but I think they like the attention. It may just be Tasos in his basement for all we know fuckin with everyone, it would explain some things... a lot of things.

If it is a legitimate company (even registered businesses can be full of shit look at the gem mining drilling companies in Indy that scam daily) then they have some issues with customer respect or time management either way, the Darkfall saga is one for the books!

WTF are you spending so much time on this, who in their mind sits there and thinks this crap up?

Needless to say this thread has turned into a courtroom drama scene about evidence. Captivating in that they try to disprove one another that a company exists at a address that is shown.

Hell go and do this for every MMO title coming out, I am now interested if they exist or not. No really.

I think you are overeacting Mhorham. If you read all of HB's posts you will see that he clearly accepts the existance of the offices after a couple of pics and some "constructive" talk. His main concern was if the offices are really located on the adress  provided by Aventurine since he was unable to find it on google earth.

Alright your opinion I can respect that. Nut or not I was investigating in something I found strange, got the resources and help and found it out. More than likely there is an office and it is probably exactly where we plotted it out with all the evidence. The problem I have is the people that visited the office was early years it is now 2008, long time dev and very little news has an impact on my suspicion. It's not that they exist, it is more along the line that they are doing nothing over there.

Just because one company failed doesn't mean another will. Really bad attempt at trolling. So just cause Dark and Light turned out to be bad, that automatically means Darkfall will be bad? Its possible, but its also possible that it will succeed. I mean look at AoC, no one questioned its lack of videos about several of their features, (well a few did, but they were sileneced by the rabid fanboys) and those features never made it to launch. We'll see.

Bingo.  But when you look at DF, you see no beta and no proof of any statements.  That worries me and makes me begin  to think that IF this game actually does release, it may turn out to be another DnL or Roma Victor...where a huge list of features were made, but the game wound up being released unprepared and non-feature complete.

That is the issue he is trying to point out.  He was just saying that DnL did more than this, and still failed...doesn't really make much sense thouigh, since a lot of games show videos and screens etc.

The point is, if Adventurine keeps this up, this game just continues to look like DnL.

How can you even think Darkfall is not a custom created game by just looking at it and what has been released? You know a real person wouldn't put such time into a real forums and this much work into proving it was a fake a fraud of a MMO just to tease us all.
