The game I play a lot, Sword of the New World, just had an expansion released ("Nocturnal Sonata") last week.  I was surprised it didn't make the news here, so I bugged the people who run Sword about it, and they said they sent in a press release, but apparently it was ignored.

I realize Sword isn't the most popular game around, but it does have a fairly active userbase and is a pretty fun game (and is one of the higher rated free ones here).  And it's actually some pretty big changes to the game, while "expansion" might be overdoing it a little, they've overhauled some major systems, indeed addressing some of my major complaints of the game (it being too cash shop reliant).

I've been wondering this myself. I mean, when WoW's patch days are covered, regardless of the fact that it isn't rated very high on this site. Yes, many people play it, but I'm sure many people play Sword of the New World too.
