Earthrise

I honestly can't tell what this game is...I've been browsing through forums and various websites, but I'm clearly missing something because I can't tell if this is a shooter or what. My impression is that it's going to be something like spellborn, but I'd love to actually have some clarification. FPS? Tabula rasa style? Or something else...

ahhh..sounds great..been looking for a decent sci-fi mmorpg since swg pre-cu and face of mankind (beta) this might be it??

Yeah from what I have read this will be similar to planetside pre-cu. But it could be a bit more RP style. Who knows guess we'll just have to wait for some more info.

anarchy online was not particularly good, why would you want a version 2 of it?

What you need to know about Earthrise:

1. Completely level and class free skill system with no limitations;
2. No instances;
3. Open PvP (Shoot anyone anytime);
4. All items in game are player crafted; and
5. Territory Capture system with player owned bases.

Kavadas has the basics, the combat in the game from what we've heard is going to be more FPS-ish than Tabula Rasa, I dont quite know how to describe it, so that works best for me. It is a skill-based MMO with an emphasis on PvP and a complete Player-driven economy, though the game will have a good deal of PvE quests and such.

Anyways, to the OP, yea you should visite the Earthirse forums. If you like forums, you will like that one. One of the better communitys I have ever seen.

because your wrong.  Anarchy Online was very good.  AOs problem was it was 4 years ahead of its time.
