Never said he wasn't a douche. But the whole idea of John Smedley going to jail for the NGE is simply ridiculous.

Yes, I am INCREDIBLY jealous that I have not wasted the two years of my life playing this game and three years bitching about it.

and the truth is swg isn't there as it is a dead game. the player base is about 4k players and a joke of the mmo world. and $OE knows you show off good games at E3
not games that at one time where the greatest game ever made turned into a shell of it's former self.

I would say as a more realistic assessment, based upon all estimates and everything I've heard elsewhere, 10-15K active players, 25-30K unique subs, plus 75K station pass.

That gets us to the 100K they can quietly spread, when really the number is far less. Much better than the silly low numbers people throw around, but still not healthy.

The thing is the number of people actually playing fluctuates wildly. After a new Chapter or update, for a little while we probably see up to near 30-50K logging in to get their goodies. They don't stay though. I'd say more people pay and don't play than pay and play. They just keep their virtual action figures in their virtual dollhouses while they really play other games.

On my most populated server, I know I belong to a guild with over 250 members, and we see maybe 25 on a regular basis. The rest bounce in once in a blue moon.

  Oh yeah...well so would the lawyers and judges, along with most of the officers that would have had to arrest us.

  Amazingly enough...if being a douche were illegal, I suppose that it would instantly cause anarchy.  Or world peace...assuming people actually tried NOT to be one.

I'd say that's relatively accurate. I'd perhaps bump active subs up to maybe 20K. Certainly not in the pink of health, by any stretch. But every time I log into this forum, I see estimates that are just ridiculous.
