Just felt like I need to post a new positive thread here.. to counter-balance the 20 or so people that must spent 3 hours a day posting doom and gloom about this game... no I won't tell you what build I have... so I don't have to hear you flame me about how I unbalanced they are.. no I won't tell you what level I am - so I don't have to hear you tell me about all the lacking content. just around the corner.. no I won't tell you my computer specs - you do not need to be my IT guy.. thanks though. THE GAME IS FAR FROM PERFECT, BUT IT IS FUN AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL !! I feel very sad for anyone who after playing AOC, has such a WoW addiction that they have to go back and stare at that game anymore... but addictions are merciless, and make people say some crazy things... So go ahead.. please tell me what a stooge I am.. k thx |

Great post, it's a shame though that the "I levelled to 80 in no time & now I'm bored" brigade seem to make people feel defensive for actually liking the game. I have also renewed my subscription & so far I am enjoying the game immensely. My main character is not even level 30 yet so there is still lots for me to do. At the rate Funcom are patching bugs & adding new content, that will probably be the case for a long while. A lot of the people complaining seem to be so obsessed with getting to 'End Game' that they fail to appreciate the rest, I doubt any new game would satisfy them. I see endless comments about 'The Good Old Days' of hardcore MMOs, but those days are gone & nostalgia often clouds people's judgments, so they would probably hate even those games if they were released for the first time now. |
