Does anyone think that SOE is secretly in charge of swgemu. i don't understand how the emu has not been shut down because its clearly copyright infringement. when you log onto swgemu and you see a SOE logo. i'm sure both lucas arts and soe are aware of the emu, yet it's still up and running. |

Its is odd that they just let it slide , maybe its just another of example of the fact that SOE dont give damn about SWG. |

there are a few issues with this... technically if they aren't receiving any money for it then technically they arent doing anything illegal... also i suppose they'd have to take into account that if they did go and throw a fit about it that technically the player-base who were lied to about the product they were selling and then ripped off could be sued. i guess... fuck me... i study law and there are so many contradictions to whats all going on here that i dont even understand it all. |
