Roger Clemens stashed the diamond-shaped pills in a vitamin bottle in his locker, perhaps keeping the drug undercover to avoid the inevitable wisecracks.

When Viagra first came out, Edgar Martinez of the Mariners was approached to appear in Viagra commercials.

After talking it over with his wife, Martinez declined the invitation, seeing as he didn't use the product.

Rafael Palmiero, OTOH, jumped at the chance.

Viagra works because it thins the blood and increases blood flow in your system. It has also been used in other medical uses than just erection malfunction.

 

Now as far as athletes are conserned increase blood flow mean more blood travels to the muscles, blood carries oxygen, muscles burn calories with oxygen thus viagra could possibly increase your perfomance.

 

I m no doctor but i think that's how it works
