With EVE Online's Empyrean Age summer expansion now doing its thing on the live servers, the folks at CCP have provided us with these new screenshots from the addition.

Check out all eight images here.

I wish I could play this game again. Every time I try, I get bored within weeks.

join a corp and do PvP.

with the new expansion, you can even join NPC corps to do PvP with other NPC corp members

"Silence is golden, duct tape is silver, but the White Border of Darkfall rules over all!"

Looks absolutely incredible, especially that explosion.

--------------------------------------
A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

Order of the White Border.

Boredom is in the temperament of the beholder.

Indeed, blowing things up is very satisfying in EVE. :D

fixed.

seriously -- 6 months for this crap?  the *free expansions* get lamer as it goes on.  god forbid important things get fixed.  by all means, throw more meaningless fluff.

lvl 5 missions, faction warfare...  yeah, i see the game mechanics, which force players to engage in blob warfare, being completely addressed.  which said fix, would make it more attractive to high sec players to have a reason TO play in 0.0 politics -- you could play and not stare at a screenshot for a long time, before dying and the fight is nearly over.

good thing they have this useless csm position (which can be completely ignored), instead of taking polls, thusly locking themselves into a "oh we see from the voting that XYZ are really what players want", and committing themselves to real fixes instead of more damn fluff.

maybe i should start a bank and scam a few billion, then i could just buy a bunch of gtc and pay for a bunch of accounts, years in advance.

could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

Quite a lot of SP for someone who is trashing EVE.
