Personal choice.. room to grow. This is pretty much my build but i have an 8800 soon to be upgraded.. Like i said.. it's way over the top and still comes in $800 less than all the whiners saying it takes $2k.

Oh and you don't need the sli mobo. the 650i is just as good but if you want room for the future haveing sli 9800's is actually the same as quad 8800's.. it just keeps you from having to change the mobo later.

With the BlueRay player i get to watch blueray movies. When you're playing on an HD monitor .. well why not?

I agree. You can get a good machine for around 1000$ that will do the job. You can always add another Gfx card or a BR player later on, as well as more HD space.

You got to Remember that most of these WoWheads get mom to buy the Computor (<--intentional) at "EeeeK Best Buy" yeh sry I said it.

Even I confess to Just recently learning the way of the master instead of folowing the masses to "Eeeek Best Buy"

I agree $270 for a case is a little much I'd buy a decent $70 case, a regular dvd player (don't need a blu-ray player), I can understand the SLI with 1 GFX card though in case you want to add another later on down the road.

The case does come with one of the best power supplies available.

Newegg FTW!! I didn't go top notch but man I increased my performance by light years for like 300 bucks. Went from 2-3 FPS in eve fights to 40-50. (that being in high container areas)
