millions whining threads, millions ingame bugs and yet there are ppl who defend this game with these arguments :

1. no server crushes.

2. if u had a better pc the game would be awesome, its graphics are amazing!!

3. just wait a few months and the devs will patch the game.

in general they all agree that the game is a big scam, a big lie and yet they try to convince new players to spend 50 euro in a game that has no content to play except for the first few hours.

that's a bit harsh. I got my 50 bucks worth in this game. but the lack of content is making me consider cancelling my subscription. I have several friends that agree and wouldn't be surprised if more follow suit when they reach the low to mid 50s.

I know. It's a joke.

It's sad to think that this is the current-future generation of consumers, just allowing themselves to be shit all over.

In 10 years, corporations will just run over these people harder than they do now. "Oh, we provide the only cable service in your area, but you'll have to wait for a patch to get all the channels. In the meantime, keep paying the full price!". Customer: "OK, lets wait for the patch guys, yay!".

Just wait for net neutrality to go down the toilet and ISP service plans are in tiers of how many websites you can access. With how easily "sheeped" people are these days, it'd be pretty easy to do.

My money is valuable (well, then again, that's sort of not true these days), I won't pay for garbage.

ppl who have trouble level pass 50 ... leave please :)

Im lvl 74 and didnt have much problem to get there....if i stuck on quest i find group, if i stuck on hrvesting mobs i find farming group...

1. no server crushes. (well, its true, no server crashes, unlike WOW's launch where they went down repeatedly in the first 6 months)

3. just wait a few months and the devs will patch the game. (well, so far, they've been patching almost every other day, with fixes I can visibly discern)

(yeah, right, nothing for me to do at all these past 2 weeks, just standing around in Khemi chatting it up with the locals)

Oh look , I went and easily defended the game, and I'm not even a big fan of it.  I play it because I'm having fun.  Its not the end all of games (for me) but its definitely worth the first 50.00 I paid for it. (I know, 50 Euros is steep)

At least if you are going to troll a game, be a good troll and list some real deficiencies that it has (oh wait, you would have had to play it I suppose to do that). 

Well, I'll do it for you.  IMO, the zoning is a bit much at times, the instancing is no big deal, the pvp could sure use some work, especially class balancing, the itemization is pretty weak at lower levels, there's too many shuttle quests (go see this npc, who sends you to that npc, who sends you back to original npc), the 20 level tutorial area sucks the 2nd time around, and there are some glitches in the graphics (especially in taverns) that make things a bit hard to locate at times.  I'm not there yet, but more quest content is needed from levels 50-80, or so I'm told.

where is the pvp? dont tell me ganking is what you call pvp...where is the meaningful pvp where u are supposed to get experience and skills and pvp gear.

where are the cities who by building one your guild can have a million advantages? not there yet....

where is the efficient crafting system?

where is the dx10?

the game dungeons are pathetic...pardon me LESS than pathetic.

there is no item and class balance

there is nothing to do in the game but to grind quests and even they are turning into a rarity in later lvls...

and yet some ppl try to tell me that because the servers dont crush and that graphics are awesome this game worths my 50 euro.

all of the above were promised by Funcom btw, yet they will be implemented on future patches....pathetic

I'm just bummed that I am having a hard time enjoying the game do to not being optimized for ATI cards.  There was a thread with hundreds of posts where ati users have observed their cards are only being utilized about 40 %.  The game needs to be optimized big time.

And yeah, I did try to upgrade to a nvidia 8800 gt (twice) which I'm sure would solve my fps problem.  But for some reason Nvidia didn't make their 8800 gt's compatible to pcie 1.0.  ATI cards I have read, are more reliably backward compatible to pcie 1.0. 

So I'm stuck waiting for them to optimize for ati and meanwhile my 30 days is running out.

Even in AO ATI card support was a bit wonky, and seeing as AoC is just a better version of the AO engine it makes sense that ATI cards are still kinda undersupported.
