Listing MMOs/Chars/Lvls does not make your post any more relevant. It just adds more crap to ignore.

The lack of Dev/GM posts on EU forums are making EU players feel neglected, nay ignored. This isnt an issue isolated to this game, we've had it in all MMO's from EQ to WoW, its a reality Europeans have faced since day one. With AoC we kinda hoped that the tables would turn with Funcom being a European company, but aparently not.

We've had next to no GM/Dev replys. Whereas on the US forums, they've had replys on Itemization, there are stickys left right and center and it seems any thread past 9 pages is destined to have a reply.

We have a 10 page thread on this here: forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php, its the only thread I can find weve had any form of official reply.

With the problems ingame, EU players are starting to feel its asinine discussing anything as it will not be read and it wont be passed on. We feel our opinions & plights are second to that of Americans.

We also have terrible Customer Support with players waiting up to 46 hours just to get a reply, then they end up waiting another 12 hours becuase the 'nonGM' says to wait for a GM. And thats optimistic, most of the time the petition times out over night.

Theres a thread on this here: forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php

With the pressing issues in this game (lack of 50+ content) and the bugs, the lack of interaction with Funcom gives us EU'ers a kind of hopelessness. We have 20 page threads on these issues, all begging for a Funcom response, and one response saying "were working on it" would be enough.

I read Atheland read these boards, I also read hes quite active. I posted this in a vain hope the message would be passed along to Funcom, becuase this is quite dire imo.

Question:

Are the posts made by EU players civil or are they a raving horde with pitchforks and torches?

Last time I looked at an EU game forum, everyone was calmly pointing things out and being civil to each other.

You need to learn to threaten and whine like we do :P

Played and enjoyed:
EQ2,DAOC,GW,WOW

the US forums are not blooming with Dev replies either

- I do not see this as a "Euro problem"

case in point,

the news that Traders were getting fixed in next patch,

was announced on the Euro forums in a Dev reply

it was never announced on the US forums - until the official patch notes

Something must have happened to the gene pool lately...

The Eu forum is split into four languages. I am not sure how many devs do speak french, spanish or german. If they would prefer the english Eu forum the other 3 langs would complain :P And i guess the US forums do have the biggest audience.

Despite isolated posts, Dev posts on US forums are proportionally higher then on EU.

The EU forums are currently "the calm child", the parents don't need to keep an eye on it, because it's not trying to burn down the house. Now the US forums are another matter though.

You have to yell a lot and get many to yell with you, before they run asap to your forums, it's something people discovered with wow i believe that enough whining will make it happen.  xD  Before WoW i didn't see that often.

I hope with this our GMs might not be loaded with troubled people so the queue for help ain't that long but haven't had the need to get it yet, and for that i'm grateful.
