So its Saturday and the game arrives from Play.com. Installed it, created an account all without a hitch. Its patching right now.

I added my drinking cape code to my account, so that's done. How does the game know I have the Rhino from Play? Is the code on the back of the manual meant to tell the server, or am I missing another code from somewhere? I know when the game sarts I type /claim to receive the cape etc, but I didn't get any other codes with the game. A I missing something obvious?

I was in beta so I know how newb this question is, but Play.com don't fill me with confidence. I can easily believe they forget to send me something

you should have received a pre order code if u had pre ordered the game and if PLAY.com didnt run out of those codes

there should be 3 codes

1) rhino/mammoth

2) retail

3) drinking cape code that we received from newsletter

this happened to me too, but all I did was take out the disc, breathed on it to mist it up, then carefully wiped it. It worked after that.

The strange thing is that the disc was totally clean before I did it, but whatever, it worked for me.

Ok, still didn't work

but as I then noticed, when I chose no to the second disk being inserted, it skipped the bits from teh second disk and I only had to do that til it asked for the first disk again and finished the goddamned install..

FFS...

I've missed a day of playing cos of that and I didn't even need it...   anyway, running the mega huge update now

If you get second disc to work the update patch is only 664mb

Nah its cool

One thing I am impressed about is the download speed, I'm getting 1.5mb/s download speed on the update, so not bad at all
