This game is ok, but there are already way to  many F2P games that are as good or better than it. Its past its prime and only going downhill. The days of Kill X number of Y mob are dying out.

 This game is by far one of the most frustating out there. The game has the potential to be a great game, however the Dev and g-potato have totatly screwed this game over. What is even worse is that the players keep asking to be lied to and to be screwed over. I have never in my life seen so many normal ppl thank the Gm's for their lies and un creativeness in the game. For those still playing this game I have to wonder if u like walking around with the "Kick Me" sign on your back.

 I was a great fan of this game in Epic 3. Now that was somethin to play. A pet system so great I just couldn't stop playing. Suddenly, the launch of E4 destroyed my class (Spellsinger) and gave me some crappy choices, like only one buf/skill for pet and I to share. Pet skills suddenly became stupid and half of those didn't work at all. The grind became boring once you realised that, with each new patch the chances of finding a new pet were smaller and smaller and smaller, so the endgame content became a pure grind with nothing else to do. Farming in this game became hell (same as before, but now 300X worse). I tried E5 and all I can say is: 

Whata piece of uber *$%&#! :-D

P.S. This was the only game (E3) I ever gave my money to.

I didn't even get out of the tutorial area, before I was thinking how boring it was. And that's bad coming from me, because its very easy for me to like a game in the beginning. All of its technical difficulties aside, there was just nothing about it that appealed to me.

I only played this game a few weeks (and that was awhile ago) but what really stuck out to me is that they don't really seem to care about fixing their game at all.

Gold Spamming bots are EVERYWHERE, screaming about their website every second in local chat. It's been awhile, but I remember that I could find no good way to ignore them. You could put a spamming bot on ignore and you could still see them in local chat! I should be able to right-click their name in the chat windows and press ignore, then not hear them anymore from any chat channel.

For a free game that depends on selling goods for real life $$$ it hardly has anything useful to buy. When I first started playing I thought the lack of character customization (only 3 hairstyles and 2 colors per class) was because you had to buy different hairstyles, colors, and what not. I was wrong, what you see is what you get forever. There is no option to buy a new look, or even change your existing look to some other limited choice. Every class in this game is a clone of each other. A chess set has more variety.

Also, the game is designed to rip you off. The game tells you how to upgrade your weapons and armor with item cubes (or something like that), but does not tell you that it will eventually break your item. Oh, did your item break? The item store can fix that for $35! Whoa! No thank you!

what keeping people from playing is the poor optimization of the game. very laggy and load very tremensously long. you must have lots and lots of ram. 512mb ram is a nightmare, do not bothe rplaying if you have 512mb or even 1gig.

from 512mb to 1.5gig you will feel improve a bit but still laggy especially in horizon town. from 1.5gig to 3gig.... you are feeling huge smoothness..... running throughhorizon town is no slide show. from 3gig to 8gig on 64bit os.... you are unstoppable! no lagg holds you back. exept low frame rate if you have a cheap card. im talking about when in max setting.

graphic is alot better than rohan. the texture is just nice and sharp.

silkroad still #1 free2play in my opinion.... if you can login.

Hey all, I've been reading about various free-to-play mmo's online and Rappelz looks like an interesting one to try. However, I don't really like endless grind, especially since I'm more of a casual player. I'm excited by the different classes offered and the pet system looks really robust. I guess my main question is, would it take me forever to progress in the game? How hard is it to figure out? Also, are the graphics decent? I just got a new computer and want to look at pretty games :)

Grind does seem bad, at the moment im lvl 25 and all ive been doing is grinding and i barely see any other players around me so i checked up the forums and seem like most of the people are high lvls so yeh that kinda sucks and on the graphics side, there legit, there not ugly but they arent Aion or age of conan either.

Ha...haha...as a previous R5 Player who was part of one of the best clans in Bahamut...i can tell you you'll be done about half way through 150...100..trust me...After level 80( AKA R4), unless you join a really good, active and fun clan, this game will be dead to you in a matter of days, maybe weeks. I quit when i was about 80ish. I returned just to get to R5, because about half way through the game, thats what i set my self to do, reach level 100. After that, i rarely look at the forums maybe every month or two and i unistalled the game. The spark is this game is big but it burns out really fast. This is also a game that will have you coming back and forth...ALSO! Tip...the economy of this game live on TWO THINGS: LUCK and REAL WORLD MONEY. So, if you plan to  be competitive in any form of PvP, be prepared to empty your wallet.

Played Rappelz for 2 years, 1 R5, 1 R4 and 2 R3 characters.
