(AOC) I can start the game, log inn to my account, see my characters, BUT when I press play on my main char it starts to log in, and all of the sudden I get Assertion Failed...  Anyone knows how I can fix this problem?  really annoying.. And every assertion failed boxes in windows is just a box with no text or anything, and the AOC game is black or white-( This switches, dunno why) And I can log into other chars witch is in the start, but I dont wanna start all over when im lvl 23 (I know, Im probaly lazy)

try turning OFF sound

--- that helped me earlier today when game froze on loading screen

What Video Card do you have?

If it is supported, I would update the drivers.  I know nVidia just recently released new ones (13th?).

Ohh, I`ll try the new drivers ^^ Didnt know it was any new..

None of the suggestions worked :o I`ve installed new drivers, tried without sound but I still got the same problem.

Not sure if it helps, hopefully you won't have to do it every time.
