I actually like the way AoC is setup. I tend to move with my mouse during combat by holding left and right mouse buttons to move forward and moving the mouse around to direct my toon. I've gotten used to this so I can mash other buttons in previous games, so this feels very natural in AoC.

Have you ever seen army tactics using melee weapons , there is much standing around.

1v1 ok whatever, but the real application of weapons is in armies, and these move slow and often in simple and semi-complex formations and movements.

If this game is supposted to repeasent guild forces verse other then strafing should be largely out... however, it more small group based and we know this.

So 1 v 1 it all ya want folks.

Cause sieging is the only form of PvP in AoC.  It's not like this game has any sort of world PvP where people would mostly find themselves solo.

Your right, in-fact sieging will hardly be seen at all. And that was my point thanks for missing it.

Originally, I thought and AoC was sold as being some larger pvp game. When we pretty much now know its small scale pvp , with a lot of ganking. Gratz, On making me have to state this word for word so that you may understand my point. Even the combat is setup to support small scale pvp.

I use my mouse to activate my hotbars (not the numbers) and use WASD to move around.  I can mouselook well, and it seems to work well, I can leave my left hand for movement and the mouse for abilities and mouselook.

i have seen a set up that seems to be interesting,

were u remove the 123 for directional attacks and move it to qwe and the 1234567890-= r for all ur skills and u use the double mouse click feature to move forwards

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Interesting

Hmm, then how do you attack?
