Hello. i have a 2.8 ghz intel premium D cpu, 3g ram and ATI radeon x700 graphic card.

After i download all the patch and clicked "play", the game just won't start. it shows as running in the task bar but the game just don't pop up. anyone konw why? is my graphic card too low?

I think it is.   I don't believe the x700 uses the shader 3.0.  x800 might but not the x700.  If you are PCI-e - a hundred dollars would get you a card that will work.
