It's a real shame when people make posts like this.  I mean it is fine to post about the experience you had, but please do not call it a review, when you clearly don't have enough knowledge about the game.

The fact that you couldn't see how to zoom into your face on character creation says it all - when you review something you should be paying more attention and trying things out.

I'm sorry this is not a "review" at all, it is simply your "experience" as an unexperienced player.

Also level 10 is when you start to get some really fun abilities, so why you would do a review up till lvl 10 is beyond me.  Sure first impressions are important, but you should at least make some effort on your part.

Odd you and others should say that actually considering most people on these boards await magazine or gamesite previews of upcoming titles with baited breath, previews based on much less than the first 10 levels but hey, that's your opinion as this was mine.  Also I tried to be unbiased and I mentioned both the games good and bad points, however, every review no matter the source is always simply the reviewers oppinion, some will agree and others wont.

You will notice that I did say that I tend to rush through character creation.  I missed that particular zoom function and stand corrected.

I actually like the first 20 levels.  Its different than WoW, its different than EQ2, Eve, etc.  Everyone was always screaming for something else, and now you have it and you complain? 

As everyone else has already said, its the tutorial.  Get to lvl 20 and the open world then write a review.  Otherwise, it would be like a lvl 15 telling a lvl 70 how to play....

Just play till after lvl 20 eric, and try a melee character as well then let us know what you think.

Some of it has to do with class selection as well, some of them aren't what you might expect from other MMO's.

I found melee classes most enjoyable, casters seemed to start off a bit dull but getter better later on, like the PoM, a bit boring until level 10 but after that you get Repulse which is a blast (literally).

Overall the Mage classes are where I had the least fun - I'm hoping spell weaving will spice that up a bit.

Made three alts so far wharmaster and so far its all been exactly the same linear story line with absolutely zero variation, other than the one shot nuke or the slashing combos.

I suspect you are right about the deeper game but with the linear game play in te first couple of hours of game play I havent seen the deper game yet. But then I havent been able to log on for the last 3 hours so no idea if any of that has changed keep getting download screen whiche ventually fails with error 105. i  can get past the downlaod screen if i swap to the US patcher but cant log on cos i have an EU account :)

Just the combination of perma dwn time that the eu patcher seems to have and the fact that when i do get back in my priest of set will still have to  wade through everything my conqueror just did leaves me some what un inspired

The op isnt trolling, trolling is when you in a non-constructing way lift something to the sky or try to bury it with one-liners with many exclamation marks.

 

Well I was only kinda joking ...

And it certainly is a very poor review dontcha think ?
