I'm getting same issue.

Sh**, got the same problem...updater is broken after the corrupt dwonloads...what to do now? reinstall?

It renames patcher on patching which is the route for the shortcut, renamed the old ones, wont bother with redoing though as my guess is the new patch is borked. I'll be leaving it a few hours methinks

Same here, real clever, corrupted the conanpatcher.exe, I renamed the temp and am trying to update again.

I had the same problem. I trawled through the patcher log and found the download location for the patch file:

http://aoc-eu-control.live.ageofconan.com/upm/AoCLiveEU/PatcherSetup.exe

Download this manually, dump the one in your AoC folder, then copy the new one over and run it.

This will fix things and carry on patching the game - it's worked for me!

ok guys, heres a work around:

Go into the installation folder were AoC is installed.  Look for the following file and copy it elsewhere for safe keeping:

ConanPatcher.exe.1.tmp

Rename the original one that is in the AoC install folder to :  ConanPatcher.exe

Then double click it to run the patching software.  If it falls over again, the patch is knackered and we'll have to wait till they redo it.  Wait till later and do the above again. 

EDIT:  hehe looks like others are doing the same.

Some appear to be in thoug? maybe the load is just corrupting the d/l. Also the .1.tmp is the previous one and will d/l a new patcher first :( (well did for me)

Something already messed up, impressive.

I knewthe tmp patcher wa an old one, it was created onthe 14th for me, I was counting on it downloading the newer file, unfortunately it sat at the "Downloading patch information" message after getting the new patcher file..

I think they're doing it deliberately, they're building tension and suspense. I'm pretty damn tense right now I can tell ya
