Just to inform you guys that the directx10 option is available in the settings, but even if you select it it won't enable anything. Here is a confirmation from Funcom:

Thanks for getting some official word on the issue. For days now it has been discussed in many threads on the official boards, but no dev response ever came. And now, at this particular moment, there ARE no official boarda, as they have been taken down so they can get the post-launch boards up and running.

lol well that's odd seeing as the new nvidia drivers have a dx10 setup included. then theres the actual dx10 files in my AoC folder.......just have to wait until it launches in 15 mins to confirm for absolute sure. fingers still crossed for aoc to fail, i have a bet on with corals if it comes in i'm quids in. |

well that could be due to a number of things since DX10 is Vista exclusive. So i imagine that it will take sometime to get it fully implemented.

I know for various reasons I can't discuss here that there will in fact be no DX10 in at least the EA... can't say about release. |

Well, just have to say that when Turbine added DX10 to LOTRO...some of it worked and some of it didn't. Took them about 3-4 months to finally get it all working correctly!
