1. You can't its a game which needs an active account and serial number that is individual to you and monthly payments to play. 2. Don't discuss video game piracy across a large forum like this, i am sure the staff would have a problem with it.. especially if it was a downloadable game... if the staff of the company saw it, they would probably sue (knowing americans who sue for just about anything) -------------------------------------------- Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having? |

Downloadable MMORPG's is not a problem AFAIK, because as you said, you still need a unique account which you pay for. In fact, I've downloaded and played EVE Online for quite some time now (I got 1 week trial, then payment was required). Now I feel kind of bored with that game and want to try out FF XI since I've always loved most of the FF games, the only thing stopping me is ironically enough the fact that it can not be downloaded and tested for free for a few days...

I have really liked the series to, but i hear that there is a large gropu of pll who played it and the say that the game i for nothing :(, i thought that final fanyasy is FINAL FANTASY, one and onother from the neverending(hope so) story. Why do they criticize it so much ?:/

there are alot of things wrong with it. Lets face it, its no EQ. There is no solo element to the game at all, even easys can kill ya sometimes. U have to be grouped, and sometimes u can wait hrs and not get a group... and a buncha other things about it that are not that great, but at the same time it is final fantasy, its fun and when u get in a good pt, or your on a raid with your Linkshell of ur just chatting with friends, doing some of the quests... well it is a good game. all it needs to be better is a real solo element for more of the classes, so that the boredem of waiting for parties is eliminated. Seriously if that was in the play, all the other flaws would be so minor, that they would be unnoticable. It depends on ur timezone alot aswell. If ur in the UK wanting to play daytime or early evening... forget it. Its almost impossible to get a group, unless ur lucky enough to be on a server with a buncha brits, but that aint likely. but yeah the game could be better, but if ur a FF fan u will like it for sure. Esp if u liked the job system of FF Tactics -------------------------------------------- Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having? |

How? U can't solo, it takes longer to lvl, you have to pay for each extra charachter (admitadly you can change job at any time so u really only need one char.. tho if u play it a while you will need extra chars just as mules.... paying for a mule.. what cheek), you have to lvl to lvl 30 and do a buncha annoying quests to become the good classes.... and even they are a bit Naf. Yeah the games fun.... but only if you find a way to get in a group as soon as you log on. Its a shame EQ 2 is so shit.. but to tell you the truth i don't think i can be bothred with mmorpgs anymore... 2 years of EQ loving most of it and being an addict... and about 6 months of what feels like alot of wasted time with FFXI. FFXI is a good game, if you have alot of free time, you enjoy farming, you can handle waiting hours and hours and sometimes still not get a group, etc etc When i am having a good time playing FFXI it is the best... but those times are so few and far between at the moment. -------------------------------------------- Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having? |

hehe i do enjoy this game when its good... but when its not... its really really shit... I was never sitting around in EQ waiting for a group.. i coul go quad kite wyrvens or whatever it was in that Icey place i could teleport too.. man i wish they had made EQ II good.. but its so shit.. i was on the beta and was soooooooooo disapointed. U know. I think i might just stick with games like UT2004 an Dawn of War... pay once... play for free.. play many times, instant action... UT2004 even has a sorta RPG mode on some servers... tho they are reset monthly... -------------------------------------------- Was that a thought I just had, or and echo of a thought I was thinking of having? |

Your right it is better then EQ 1 but no where near better then EQ2. I like FFXI and all but EQ2 is just sexy lol. It really is a good game Server: Ragnarok

I dont have the link, but i knwo you can download it. For somereason the discs wont install on my computere, something about there over burned. (i think thats what sony told me) They gave me a FTP site where i downloaded all but disc 3 because taht one was normal. So i would not consider this stealing the game seeing how you need the dics 3 and a regrestration code. Tho it did take me a very long time to download the game

i think u can download it from some p2p network but it wont work cuz u need activation keys and creditcard to play and 50$ is not much for this great game ^^ and its free for 30 firs days :) |

accually I'm looking for a download... because accounts are crossplatform I can log into the PC version... I've ordered it, but I'd rather be able to play sooner rather than later |

Reply to the first poster- Ok guys, he obviousley hasnt played the game, he probably means where can he get ahold of something like a 7-14 day free trial, ex. Download and try. Sorry is this was already covered, didnt bother reading any other posts. |

even if u cood get ff11 on a download dere wood be no point really , u WILL get bored of it very quickly the solo is rubbish on it and u can never get into a party that quick! lvling takes 4EVA even in parties ive been playin 6 months and only lvl 10 (mite be cos i dont play it much>>>>¬_¬ and the combat is #!?*& on it! my adviice dont buy it |

k.... the game is good i can say that, but i could be better, yer graphics are good but alot of games are better! also its ridiculos amount of money 2 pay for it every month !! if been loyal 2 all of the final fantasys but they could of made it bettter on the amount of time they spent on it!! yer can get 2 lvl 15 in a day(if you spend all day on it!!
