Hi Guys..

There's been no news on European / NA Beta, and the estimated launch was Q3 Europe, i guess that schedule is impossible to reach now, maybe around quarter 4 we should expect the game?  i Really hope it comes out before WOTLK!

Yeah, my hopes have been for a while in Q4 2008/Q1 2009, the only thing that might calm us while it comes out is a beta, which we will have apparently.

I don't recall seeing anything that indicated Q3 for Europe. I seem to remember Q4 at earliest.

I believe Q3 would be fall, not summer.

Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Unless they are noting it oddly, then Winter would be first...

Id like a Western beta as well.. Im currenlty game-less. Well sorta. Gameless enough I could do beta primarily.

the main rumor is october 30th, so, cant really tell when it is coming out, cause coorperations like amazon are filthy lyaing pigs.

Pfft, in all my years of gaming, Ive never once paid attention to what any store, much less Amazon, has said a particular release date was. I once went into Gamestop when I was beta-testing a game, and asked them when the game was going to be out, they gave me some guestimate their supply guys likely gave them. And I was like; oooh... ok. Thanks.

I think Q's are just literally 1/4 of the year starting with Jan-March (Winter/Spring), April-June (Spring/June)

This is just me FLAT OUT guessing, Q-2 2009 is my guess.. I'de LOVE to see it Q4 2008 or Q1 2009, but I just have a gut feeling Q-2 here we come.

And I gotta tell you I'm tempted.. *sigh*.. tempted... *die a little inside*.. to play WoW as I wait.. Talk to me in 5 weeks or so, let me burn out CoV/CoH first. problem is I have a problem with... idiots.. So in otherwords I have a problem with most of the mmorpg populations out there.. You know the types.. The people who afk, don't know how to play their class, walk into mobs.. just really hurt the experience... MMORPGS are all about community/friendships/having a good and fun team. Oh and Vent.. :) I used to use Xfire to keep in touch.. but just about everyone I played with on UO (Most used ICQ) , DAOC, and L2 have kind of bailed on the scene.. (mmorpgs) .. You know why WoW has an appeal to me? Damage meters / Heal Meters, I know it sounds strange, but you can actually see contributions which just makes it that much more of a game/challenge to me... Well regardless, the only thing that keeps me away from WoW is the previous experience I had with the population.. I felt like I was babysitting every-time I logged. Also a local group would be a lot more enticing as well.. A group to just kind of meet and greet once in a while in RL, thats my rant! oh P.S. Aion is going to be my baby.. If your looking for someone who will know what they are doing and looking to have a good time.. Drop me a PM sometime between now and whenever it releases.. Oh and if you can't use vent, its probably not going to work out.. save your pm!

Jerrie, play on Moonguard. Im not saying there arent any idiots, but youll see a definite lack of them. Its an RP server... and there are special channels that the general population doesnt use... :D

That would be a huge fail imho, right now, in Lineage II, they are taking 6 months for localizations, iirc, the aion team stated that they would minimize the waiting, considering how the suppossed last closed beta will be coming in late june/july, i'd say q4 might be accurate.

Something about the word "Roleplaying" infront of server turns me off a little :).. I always picture the stereotypical nerd wearing the elf ears or large middle age man with the wrist guard and bag of dorritos (yes, Southpark made a reference to it).. Also in my MMO days I've heard some .. *interesting* stories about people who feel they are roleplaying in a MMORPG.

But honestly I think its worth a shot and I appreciate the advice.. I'll definitely roll Moonguard and see if I can find a few keepers :)
