Age of Conan

Sorry to say that I have no faith for this game anymore.  Funcom couldn't even help or offer some answers to people who have problem to download early access files.  A lot of people got the file quickly, some have no luck at all.  For me, I tried every possible ways: open ports, paid Rapidshare.com to download from someone who uploaded the file, or even tried the website in Australia.  Wasted more money but no real result.

One question, why isn't there any other playable races?  All "Three Races" look pretty much the same.  Worse part in OB was some mobs looked  like players or NPC to me. 

Funcom wouldn't refund 5 dollars early access fee, if you try to contact them about it.  Customer service was very quickly, I got my answer in about 20 minutes.  That's a good sign.

I was crazy about the game at first, I ordered CE copy of game and even would pay extra for next-day delivery.  Now I think that I will put my money to good use, I will donate to Myanmar or China.  If anyone happens to cancel the game as well, maybe you could help others around the world.

For people who are lucky enough to finish downloading, Have Fun   I guess I will wait for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

What's your broadband connection like and where are you? I'm in Bangkok with a crappy ISP that has me sharing a pipeline with 49 kids playing Cabal right now and I get 50 - 100 kb/s. Also don't lose your faith my friend,

Wait.. You're pissed off because you failed to download the game client?  I just picked up a pre order yesterday and I'm downloading it now.  I think the problems on your end.

Sorry to hear about your problems, but you have to realize that there are probably thousands and thousands of people trying to download the early access program at the same time.  I have friends that downloaded it at 300+ kbs.  If you're trying to download it from Australia I can see where you might have even more of a problem.  Again sorry to hear you are having problems.  Hope you get them resolved.

As for AoC only having 3 races to play?   Not to sound facetious, but you are familiar with Conan's World right...right?  I mean were you expecting dwarves and elves...because there are none in Conans world.   There are humans...and then there are humans...and of course humans.   Every once in a while Conan would come across a weird creature from mythology or a demon and even demi-Gods, but you know of all the stories about Conan I ahve ever read he never come across any elves or dwarves(well not the dwarves you'd be thinking of) in any of his journeys across Hybornia.  Sorry.

It seems now that now that FC have been seen to be handling the technical side of things and solving most peoples issues the haters have switched tactics to attack the game with bs like this in order to create a bad feeling for it out there in la la land.

At best he is a lying troll, at worst he is a blatant shill.

I have downloaded this onto 2 PCs so far (neither my own or in my home) and neither of them has had these issues. Not saying they don't exist, this isnt a perfect world, but just saying so people who read this have a balance to the OP's histrionics.

lets hope more ppl that got problems just quit the freaking game...

the client doesnt download faster than 300kb hell not even on the first day so why u think everyone that was smart downloaded imediatly when they got key.. as for now too menny ppl get the keys at ones so u all suffer from too much ppl downloading at same time..

The download doesnt work like that,the more ppl that are downloading the better it is for your speed.

After 2 days I am almost done with my download but I have been hearing about lots of folks with problems downloading. I think a big part of it is people who aren't part of the early download being allowed access to the client. funcom should make you sign in to your account or something to access the file.

if you take a pie and cut it into pieces for people the more people there are the smaller the piece will be. and having more people in the case of this torrent really doesn't help since no one can seed the file. one seed + a bunch of leechers = slow download speed.

It does seem that there are a few different seeds from funcom though because I can disconnect and reconnect several times and get different average speeds each time.
