Below is an email I wrote to Take Two. I had to call Sony and I am getting a new ps3 since GTA4 won't work on mine. Maybe I will call Microsoft and see if I can get a new 360 since my original copy of GTA4 was 360 and didn't work. Apparently, it is easier to replace lots of ps3s instead of rockstar programming GTA4 to work on my ps3.
Email: So I recieved an email from sony to call their tech support. So I did and my ps3 will be replaced because it freezes up with your game, but none of my others. Why is it that I have never had a problem with my ps3 until GTA4, but instead of GTA4 being fixed I am getting a new ps3? Which I am glad I am getting a new ps3, but it isn't the real problem. Lack of testing on TakeTwo/Rockstar's part is the problem. There is some blame for sony for having different models though. Please test your games in the future, or if you refuse competency, you could at least fix YOUR game after you release it. Sorry to the customer support guy that is reading this, this is aimed at those that make decisions about things like this. Please pass it on to them. Everytime I called the tech/customer support was excellent, thank you for that. I won't be buying anymore TakeTwo or rockstar products. Not like there were any good ones besides GTA anyway. Seriously, when I get a flat tire, I don't get a new car, I just replace the tire. I demand free swag! A t-shirt and keychain or something. Here is my reference numer xxxxxxx-xxxxxx. GOD HELP YOU IF I DON'T GET A KEYCHAIN! I saved a copy and I will send it to them every week until they send me free stuff. Maybe next week I will send it in spanish or german or something. I used to have respect for Rockstar, I thought they were one of the best game companies. Now they are on the same level as EA/M$/$ony in my book. |

Lol this is what happens when consoles are turned into PC's they use the customers to Beta test games. |
