Also AoC OB pre-patch had a lot of memory leaks leading to 1-2gb pagefiles and while the OB post-patch fixed 90% of issues, the memory leak still happened to a very small amount of people.

Tibbz also has a point here. Value or Select RAM is horrible but should still do the trick if your cheaping out. I'll say 1 thing as Corsair XMS is not what it used to be when they first started making them. Get a 4GB 2x2gb of Mushkin HP2 5-4-4-12 800mhz and you shouldn't have much trouble with any game.

It's Corsair XMS 2x1.

I have nothing turned off in the OS.

I run adaware + SpybotS/D each week, I do a O&O defrag each week.

maybe I just tweaked my vid bsetting to much or its the memory leak affecting me as one of those seldom few.

I have noticed quite abit of improvements in memory use for the past 2 days.  Its not fixed but its getting better.  Now... No I did not change anything in my pc.

Memory is still abit of a problem but I can at least see the game run now on about 1.2 - 1.5 gb without to much problems.  Thats still like 800-1k more RAM than most MMOs use today so its always gonna be some issues with such high load.

Basicly Funcom has to get the memory under 1k.  Until then they will never get a stable game for longterm playing.   Now - if they will get it that far down is another matter.

Clench all you want, it''s still going in.

they also need to trim the memory footprint for the XBOX client to be possible.

I personally play on 2gb of memory and have no issues at all. It has improved drastically over the last month.
