I honestly believe they will sell over 500K copies within the first week or two. This game is very good and the only people flaming it are fanbois of a different game.

The graphics are better than any MMO on the market.

The PvP is very fast paced and on a large scale. Sieges, guild vs guild, mini-games.

12 UNIQUE classes. Every class is unique. If you just played levels 1-5 you wont see that. Play until 25+ and you will see that every class is absolutely unique. 80 levels in total

PvE raiding, dungeons, crafting, and lots of exploring with a bunch of cool mounts.

This game offers everything and more. Why wouldnt it have 500K + subscribers early on? Only reason I can think of is the economy in the US is doing poor and maybe ppl cant afford the game and/or a new system.

Dont listen to teh negative reviews, this game is going to be revolutionary.

I think it will do very well and I can't wait to be there for launch.  I hope that they have everything that they need in place to handle the huge influx of players onto their servers.  I wish for a successful and fun launch.  I love to watch the players scurry around like chickens with their heads cut off when MMO's launch.  It's gonna be a blast!

While AoC will be no WoW killer, its being released at a good time. People are bored of WoW and want to try something new. I predict many people will end up buying the game just to try it out. Whether they end up staying or not will be up to funcom.

I didnt participate in AoC closed beta, but I am in WAR closed beta. That is all I will say. I dont break any NDA by saying I am in a closed beta.

Surely you mean 'Preview', I thought a game had to be actually released for a 'Review'...

This is not entirely true, when you realise the figures that are involved in gaming you have to conclude that there are professionally paid people out there do all they can to try and set doubt into peoples minds as to wheather or not to purchase a game, if you really believe that Blizzard and other upcoming game release companies do not pay people to splash themselves over the internet in evey way possible  to stir trouble, even websites like MMORPG would have an interest in keeping the forums busy with trouble striring, they have bills to pay and advertisment companies to keep happy, there are a few on here from the above selection, i best not post who as i had a post deleted earlier for suggeting such...with no explination as to why it was deleted lol.

dare i mention mrs twain

There is absolutely nothing revolutionary about this game. Not a single thing.

They might do average - good at launch, but I don't think they will be able to keep players for the long run. AoC is more visuals than substance.

I beg to differ...combat, visuals, gameplay style...

Nope...it is totally different than what I have played before..

But, if you can show me a game that plays the same exact way, I would be willing to try it
