WAR (Warhammer Online)

Why are the two most active threads on this forum just bashing on AOC??? I thought this was the WAR forum... At least thats what I came to read about when I came to this forum, why not take your rants over to the AOC forum??? Do you intentionally do it so your other WAR fanboys can back you up on your own forum?? Please enlighten  me.

Is because of the jealously on the whole that AoC is more popular, reached 1 million beta applications first and looks like will be having a  successful launch. Some people that follow warhammer cannot take this and therefore have to post negativity here out of the limelight. Its like " lets bash the competition here and no one will see....snicker snicker"

It would would be better for these boards here if those people who are really scared of AoC being popular just stopped posting for a while.

Who knows, but its for certain that warhammer fans should thank Funcom.

Mythic was not even going to have sieging like it is now until everyone saw how awesome they look in Conan.

Then Mythic borrowed AoC's innovative SpellWeaving concept and added that into their game.

Then Mythic lifted the skin for crafting from AoC and then made it warhammerish, (but its essentially the same)

Then Mythic saw how cool Stealthing looked in AoC and went back on their word and but it into Warhammer Beta. People were in both beta's and it was really easy to see which game was stale. Good for Mythic for adding a little spice to the war.

Then Mythic saw that AoC has sieges with set spots for siege weapons (cough AoC)

Plenty more...

 It would be better, but it would be the same as asking posters to actually post calm, collected discussions all the time without the retards saying just about anything just to anger or make fun OPs.

I like a little color in debates, but the length that some actually go to is beyond me.

Im honestly dumbfounded by the ratical fanboyism I see for some of these MMO's coming out recently. I plan on getting both of these games when they're released(Already tried AOC actually and thought it was great). But seriously I come to the WAR forum to see peoples thoughts on WAR! Not on how much the Fanboys hate AOC because its taking some of the subscriber base away! Its pathetic, if you dont like AOC go tell people on the AOC forum were it belongs! Dont degrade the WAR player base with your idiotic need to be rooting for the most l33t game out there..... And get rid of this ridiculous mind set that you can be a fan of only 1 game!

Or better yet can we get a lock on it? There is entirely way too many of these around. Id rather talk about WAR only.

 I totally agree! It's the self-righteousness I can't stand in some posts. No tolerance for other points of view but theirs. They don't have to agree with one another, but have the respect of acknowledging the views of others. But that's not society atm. It's right over might, though some try to use might to be proven right.

I just don't see how your thread helps this situation. at all.

1. Scolding fanboys just doesn't work. definition of a fanboy is someone who will spew out worship with only partial facts, while 2 fingers are stuck in their ears to any criticism.

2. How about not bringing up WAR vs. AOC is your first post... maybe post some innovative new thread?

3. Why not attack fanboys in general in a pub thread or something... as if it is limited to WAR and AOC. puleeeze.  I have lately decided to start posting alot more just because fanboys are constantly coming in to troll.

The quiet, but  vast majority is pulling for both games... why wouldn't you? no really - WHY...WOULDN'T...YOU?
