I ordered online from Gamestop last week.  I got my email with my key 2 days ago.

Do pre-orders online, not through your local store.  Most of the goofs who work at the stores either screw something up or keep/sell early access/promo keys.

I can understand limiting the physical books, but the in-game items cost them nothing to mass-produce, and if the servers can't handle letting all the pre-orders on early, what the HELL is going to happen at release when everyone comes flooding in?

I tried a pre-order from GoGamer.com, but I have to WAIT for an e-mail to tell me if they are out of keys or not. They don't have a notice on their site. I can only hope that because they digitally distribute their codes (rather than physically) that they have a more abundant supply of them. If not I will be cancelling that preorder as well.

Why does every company feel the need to burn the people who are giving them GOBS of money BEFORE their game comes out? If I am going to pay for something that far in advance I expect VIP treatment.

This is absurd. Shame on everyone involved, and thanks for ruining what should have been a good time for me.

Don't worry mate.  Just get your money back, go to Best Buy.  Pre-order boxes are flooding the store shelves.  As a bonus, you get extra storage space and a WAR RHINO.  Consider yourself lucky you didn't get the gamestop version.

I love eb games, always the most helpful people there. However, they did not call, but I still went in and got it by instinct and Im looking at the patcher right now, no patch yet though :)

Went to a Gamestop store and got the last preorder they had at that location.  Called them ahead of time and they held it for me.  Gamestop has always been good for me.

I'll never buy a game online because it then causes 5x more problems if anything happens. Walked to my EBGames, got my pre-order and now waiting for the May 14th patch.

I ended up ordering from them as well. I got my code right away, and ninja'ed an early access just before the cut off, or they ran out. I haven't recieved my early access code yet though, but they charged me the 5 bucks so hopefully that means I got it, or I might be flaming them again, haha! Sometimes those e-mails can take a day or two...

I am beginning to like GoGamer.com. They've been good to me so far. Either way, I am happy I got the rhino. I play casters who can't use bows, and I hate elephants. So, there ya go

another thing about gamestop.com is their discount deals.   if you ever decide to use thier coupons (or whatever) for your next order be prepared.  Reservation Rewards WILL CHARGE YOU $10.00 EVERY MONTH!  I did not read everything, assuming it was a regular old discount, and was charged for 7 months on my paypal account.  Reservation Rewards only wanted to refund me for one month.  Luckily I disputed this and was refunded in full through paypal. 

Yes, maybe I'm stupid for not reading everything before going ahead with my discount... but whatever.  Just letting people know to beware of the gamestop.com "discount."
