I plan to play on the RP-PvP server, possibly the PvP server.

As i come from games like Linage2 and EvE: online, there is 1 choice for me really. PvP. Was intruged for RP PvP to, but friends wanted the more gaming feel from older games (meaning more smacktalk, drama politics. And less "Templars of the Steel", "Guardians of the North" ...with my axe in your arse if ye not yield...") PvE servers are shaping up to similar to PvP servers from WoW or a hybrid in between there, We massed invite alot of ppl on PvP day in OB (guild name was Big Bad Pigs, bet some Lionnians can figure that one out). We had some interesting thoughts and opinions of pppl going to pve/pvp. Heck it opened my eyes abit for the PvE servers to.. Its a PvE label, but dam the rules are still similar to many other games PvP servers hehe, thats AoC for ya! |

I'm thinking the RP-PvP server's community may be a bit more mature, which is a main reason I would go there instead of the PvP server. This was true at least for the WoW RP-PvP server(s), not as popular but I met a lot more good people than I did on the other servers. Not sure how the community will be for the RP-PvP server, so I'll have to wait and see. |

Noob question...Once you pick your type is there any switching in this one. Like you suddnly want to pvp after hitting like lvl 25 or something. |

75% says I'll roll on the pvp-rp server Still debating, really wish there was a pve-rp server, and i know that FFA pvp is great for rp and all, but it will depend greatly on what type of community inhabits the server, who sticks with it etc. If I can get into a good guild it will prob be my new home. In most games its like people roll in rp servers just to ruin the experience for others. To each their own, had some great times rping on EQ2 and LOTRO, hope to have some with AoC as well. |
