how many of you have characters that are jacks of all trades?

and, how far have you taken that?

like, have you trained up corp mgt skills enough to have both anchoring 5 and the others to the point where you can found an alliance?

drones, where you can use t2 light/med/hvy

gunnery to where you're specialized in one type all the way (sm/med/lg) or just have 3-4 levels of all types, sm/med/lg?

etc etc.

my jack of all trades is up to about 34m sp and is decent ( lvl 4/5, or lvl 3/4/5 mix) at a LOT of things; but not REALLY a specialist (max level on all skills in a *profession*).

how do you train your jack of all trades?   do you get a good base of level 2 skills, then pick a sub profession and work on maxing it? or do you try to just get everything you can to level 4?

well, I'm close to 55 mill SP, and, my skills are all over the place, do have nearly 75 skills in the 5/5 range, with missiles being the primary of those, but, as for the manufacturing sector skills, I'm above average on those, with alot in the 3/5-4/5 range and the ability to build Capital ships from motherships downward

Ive been playing a little over 2 weeks. I got lucky and landed in a great Corps that gave me some money to start out. I just bought alot of skill books and learned them.

Im mainly a "combat" type but i have some ships on the side for different things. If I really needed some thing I just bought the skill book.

My primary is combat and mining second.

I am a jack of all trades too, but with some specializations. I own a jumpfreighter with reasonable skills (jf4, all jumpskills 4), and can fly caldari hacs nearly perfectly.

Other than that, i have a good chunk of sp in science and manufracturing, but most in spaceship command. I own a respectable fleet of t2 ships myself, and can fly caldari commandships very well.

I mostly only skill very effective skills to 5. I won't spend training to lvl5 if the bonus is too low for me. Something like "warhead upgrades" with a 2% bonus is at four, while drone interfacing is slowly pushed to five..

I'm a specialist PvP with 21 million sp and 8 million in gunnery [and only hybrid guns learnt no others] and 1 million and climbing in Missiles as well as 1 million in drones.

I either Mission run for cash or i go out and 'mine' ships for cash [and fun].
