 Ive been recently looking for a new mmo to play. Im looking for something that  I can solo if I want to and im not forced to group to finish quests and level up; but jumping into a group isn't a difficult thing to do. Just to give you an idea of what ive played.

Everquest -6 yrs- loved the game just doesn't feel like its enjoyable without a group of people.

EQ2 - 2yrs- it was good but PVP was the only new thing and it was terrible

Vanguard I played closed beta for it and a week into launch.

WoW- first six months, havn't gone back to it since, player base just sucks... couldn't tell you why I just have a strong hate of the game. PVP was the best part.

LoTRO- great game just can't stand the constant quest grinds with little to do in between, PVP is lacking.

Eve-was great just too much time.

Ive played GW, Conan- neither of which I want to continue playing.

So overall looking for something with good PVE, decent PVP, and something I can feel like ive accomplished something in a short amount of time.

Hmm, perhaps you could wait two weeks for the release of Age of Conan.  There's PvP, some PvE, and if you are looking for a guild I'm sure you could find one.

I played Conan, it wasn't really for me, plus it doesn't run over 10fps on my computer.

I'm sorry but I think you mentioned all games that are mostly worth of paying... I don't know, I may suggest you Lineage 2 but that's nothing comparing with Conan or WoW  (my opinion however).

If that is no good for you as well then I realy don't know what you want but I wish you luck though

Yah, its sucks when you have played almost all of the decent games. Im going to give the City of Heroes trial a try and see how that goes.

woops knew i forget a mmo, yah FFXI the dunes were.....lets just say thats as far as I got all 7 times i tried the game.

Same situation as yourself personally im kind of messing around in Lineage 2

I realy like the game such a shame i hadnt picked it up at release.

A very slow leveling game but fun but come WAR Aion SGW i probably wont have even hit 50 (80 cap i think)

From wha im told expect to play it for 18-24 month to hit top level so not great for a casual mmo.
