Do we really know if they have a publisher or not ? They have stated that they are looking at both but this journal said nothing about that ?!

Would you want to publish a game that has a reputation like Darkfall? At the end of the day people are not going to want to waste millions publishing a game that most people have already written off as vapourware or a failure waiting to happen.

It is to big of a risk, they have no choice but to self publish because any publisher with business sense would not risk investing in Aventurine. The most that could happen is that a small start up publisher helps them, but if they supposedly have money then they might as well do it them self.

edit: btw supposedly they are publishing themselves in just a few regions which implies they do have publishers for other regions.

Self publishing for Aventurine means Direct 2 Download. You can't do Direct 2 Download in "specific regions".  That's a world wide thing since anyone can download it from anywhere... Unless they start IP banning specific countries.

On the contrary i would love to publish a game with a reputation like DF. Why? it pretty simple every1 who has been playing mmo's has heard some time of his life about DF, that equals to me like word of mouth advertising, and that as we know still remains the best way to advertise an mmo

Considering your apparent naivety or ignorance concerning basic business, promotional and publishing practices, I can assure you any chance they had of gaining positive word of mouth advertisment without actually showing there game has passed years ago.
