Oh come on. If they are -real- developers, they will have looked at the MMO landscape. And seeing as D&L was another game that promised so many things, it would be only logical to assume they at least took a closer look at it, if only to see where and how it failed.

 

 

It's a bit silly to assume they "forgot" about D&L. I'm really not trying to flame, but come on. The Developers claim a lot, I seriously hope they can deliver, but if they say something, it's no use to try and rectify these statements. Saying twice as large as any world out there currently at the time they did, it means for anyone who's reading twice as large as D&L since that is technically speaking the largest one out there AFAIK.

FACT : Darkfall main dev, Thasos, said that their world will be twice the size of the biggest mmo currently in the market.  It was in one of their developper journal.

FACT : Dark and Light has the largest world

FACT : Darkfall world will be twice the size of Dark and Light

Now, stop bashing Darkfall, because Age of Conan world is so small or something.

i really dont think darkfall devs even consider dark and light its a failed game i wouldnt either.

huh? They have officially annouced the game will be available in 2008, that's huge considering we are already in may.

And the vaporware legend lives on!

yep it said release will be in 2008 with playtesting a few weeks before that. this is offcial

then you go to the forum and see a post 5 things down asking when the release date is, and a mod replies that they don't have one right now.
