Alright guys, I am usually the type of person who will test a beta for a game then wait till the game matures until I buy the product. When I tested VG, it had some nice potential in my mind but seemed to be jaded with tons of negative reviews. I usually don't listen to the reviews because imo, MMOs are like fine wines, they get better with age.

So I feel perhaps maybe VG has aged enough for me to give it a worthy go. So I have a few quick questions for the vets who have been playing for a while.

1.) I work 40 hrs a week and I have roughly between 1-5 hrs per night to game and much more on the weekends, in VG is this possible to progress with?

2.) While I heard system req is a bit high and my previous system was heavily out of date, what are the graphical capabilites in the game with a Amd phenom MB, 4 gigs of ram and ati radeon 3870, have there been any issues with Vista 64 Operating Systems?

3.) Is it worth coming back at this time when such games as AOC are right around the corner? Have you noticed the guilds or player population starting to  dwindle?

1. Ample time TBH VG can be quite casual friendly use the short player session's for your solo quests and the longer session's for group quests.

2. That system will have no problems with vanguard whatsoever there was some massive optimisation done after launch and you should max everything no problems on that system.

I can max everything on

Pentium D 940

2GB ddr400 ram

ati X1950 XTX 512mb

vista ultimate 64

3. Unfortunately a exceptionally buggy and high requirement launch killed Vanguard before it even got started a lot of improvements have been made but the MMO crowd are a fickle bunch Vanguard bled its subs at the start and has unfortunately never recovered couple that with very little to do at end game and it has just bled from day 1.

Find a good guild thats active and fun can still be had a game with so much promise that through a bad launch hasnt had the sums which = the funding to truly make it a exceptional game
