Hey everyone... FINALLY FRIDAY!!

Anyway... i registered my pre-order last week and also payed for early access which will commence on the 17th as i understand it. Getting into the game at this time might pose a problem if i haven't received my pre-ordered game, so the only logical conclusion would be for Funcom to have a digital download of the client.

Now, does anyone know when this option will become available for those who payed for it?

I only buy digital downloads. I may pass on this ...

im not sure but i think i read somewhere that the download will be available on May 10th

You can begin downloading for early access on 5/14.  I'm guessing you will access it from the "upgrade subscription" option on your Funcom account page.

the 5$/eu , you pay for early acces is for download which will be avaible on 14th..

btw. ur question and poll just doesnt make sense..

apart that.. everything seems fine. yet you ask if it will be digital download.. well what digital download is for you ?

its game you download for money instead of buying at shop , first.. you can keep game.. you downloaded second you need key for full game.

then tell me why you preordered game.. ye i know its not what you asked. but ur post made 0 sense. yes im tired. and clearly tired reading and explaining. but im sure that poll was/is total bs

Maybe the poll doesn't make any sense whatsoever or maybe, as you say, you're just to tired to see it clearly and the poll asks a valid enough question? I can however answer your question why i pre-ordered AoC... I did it because i have tried a heap of different MMOs and very few of them could keep my attention up for more than two weeks. The first one, the king of kings, Star Wars Galaxies (also my first MMO played) - the second one is World of Warcraft (excellent game).

So now i have been jumping between trials and retail MMO games, hoping to find that spark that once shone so brightly...

I had kinda the same question, being that we will be playing the game and such on the 17th will it require me to enter my retail code once I get it to keep playing?

If you have a pre-order key then you can pay $5 and get in on the 17th and play until the 27th.  After the 27th you will have to put in a retail code or your sub stops.

And yes, we can start downloading it on the 14th.

question :  on the 14th its not going to be fileplanet download right ??

over a week have I been trying to get the client from fileplanet,  no luck so far.
