IGN get a hands on the current WotLK build

What realy sounds cool is blizzards new vechicle system.. "In one dungeon instance, players will be able to "liberate" some blue dragons that they can mount up and fly around, fighting their way up a massive tower." ... "One example Blizzard gave us: Players will fly over a human settlement being overrun with the Scourge, lowering a ladder down to pull up and rescue civilians."

More info emerge on the deathknight.. "Deathknight can turn dead team mates into ghoules" ..."starts at lvl 55"

Sadly no info the PvP zone or much Raid info... but as you can see WotLK looks as good as ever.

More dragon bosses...... Check

Arena Season X......Check

Nothing else to see here, move along. No large scale open air PvP, once again since the inception of the Arena PvP nothing else will matter.

Instanced PvP cut WoW off at the knees and limited their imagination, I'm not going to argue with WoWs success obviously but PvP is irrelevant now outside some 5vs5 instance which makes the game dull in many people's eyes.

There's just not enough things to do, Arena or raid. Since I've done both this doesn't impress me.

The only thing that DOES count is game play.

And we all know that products of Blizzard are full of it.

I am confident the open zone PvP will have the same high play quality. A new BG after 2 years would be great also.

At least one publisher that knows how to make games that last longer than 3 weeks.

I don't think anyone really expects Blizzard to add any thing that makes you go WoW(pun intended). Just like Burning crusade it will be another expansion that is more of the same with a few features that are new to get people to play the game.

Most likely the Death knight class will be overpowered it makes sense because they want you to buy the expansion, so having a new over powered class would be a good incentive for a lot of people to buy it.

I would buy the expansion if they done something like added a new way of leveling, or remade all of the old zones like they did dustwallow marsh, or even remake azeroth so flying mounts can be used. It just does not look like they are adding enough to justify a 30 pound price tag especially when they make 1 billion dollars a year in profits off of WoW alone from its subscriptions.

Other, less profitable mmo companies like for instance Turbine release expansion size updates for free every 3 months, I believe CCP does the same every 6 months. If they can do that in 3/6 months why does it take 2 years almost to copy and paste all of the old content and change its colour, and text for quests which is what that preview sounds like.

My earlier flippant post aside.. You nicely summed up exactly how I feel about the Blizzard expansion model.

I was a pretty hardcore WoWer until about 3 months after TBC... at which point I hit the uninstall button and have never looked back.  I have some fond (rose-tinted) memories of those first 20-man strat runs (no idea why.. scholo actually way cooler IMO) up to unlocking AQ and Naxx... TBC was so uninspired... like a movie seqel that is so bad, it actually ruins the original flick for you as well.

Their timing has been exquisette, but never have I seen a game so succesful, give so little back to their players in the PC world.

Yes Coffee, I am a WOW-hater and I am watching you!

Scriar and Sorcielle clearly illustrate that some people have WoW Hate so entrenched, so ingrained into their being that it is impossible for them to say anything good abut WoW.

If you're not excited about vehicle combat like freeing a dragon and then mounting that dragon to fight your through a tower, using a gyrocopter to air rescue people or riding a horse and throwing flaming oil at werewolves then there truly is no hope for you.

This preview shows that Blizzard will do so much more with WoW than just add 10 levels like they would want you to believe.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and it just demonstrates why WoW is the undisoputed king of the MMOs now and for a long time to come.

Yeah I hate a game so much I read previews about it and post on its boards. Oh and I leveled 6 70s in it out of pure hate.

I do not hate WoW, I and many others are fed up with it. It never changes for the better, WoW is incredibly successful, there is no reason what so e
