Until then everything you say is simply speculation and nothing more. Don't pretend to have this amazing knowledge of this game when the only ones who are capable of answering this question are under the NDA.

Just because there is such thing as the NDA, my posting doesn't necessarily have to be speculation. But i see what card you are trying to play here...and it's getting old.

When it comes to any negative comment, you fanbois either tell people to shut up refering to the NDA or you even try to lure them to break it, so you can go an report them.

Getting back on the "speculation" thing:  My statement is no speculation as i know what i am talking about - so there is no "pretending" of knowledge as it is knowledge by fact. And now find me the line which breaks the NDA -under which i am not btw. All of what i said is info widely available on the internet by now by the way. Go and try to play your Avery-card on someone else.

Hehe yes fanboys will unite on this

Are you trying to say that my friend Avery would stoop as low as intentially baiting people to get them to break the NDA then report the person for such break just to get the person banned?  And you've even named this practice by calling it "pulling the Avery-card"?

the problem is that as marketing and testing, we only have access to the first 13 levels..which funcom stated will get you a good feel of the game. So those of us who only have open beta keys, yes, from a reality standpoint, the game is very linear with little freedom, so when people say this they are correct, having this be the only reality we are subjected to

I wouldn t say avery would entice someone to break NDA but he seems very rabid and beyond fanboy at times.

Following the discussions on this forum for quite a while, i can think of cases in which in the process of the discussion, when someone posted negative facts about AoC Avery asked them to provide 'proof' or to shut up -while giving proof in that matter meant to break the NDA, what he shurely knew. Thats what was meant with the Avery-card.

I also know of users who -although being polite- got banned from the forums in the course of said discussions with Avery...likely being reported for NDA break. So, anyone can make his own picture on that.

Avery is probably a Dev or public rep guy from Funcom.

SCIENCE PROVES CAPS LOCK CAN CURE CANCER.

AoC is a zoned world, not linear, not instanced (in the sense of getting your own separate map from the gameworld), and not "seamless" after level 20. If the game attempted to make itself seamless with it's graphics you would see even more people complaining about how their computer can't run this game.

People who are former customers/current customers of WoW may not know the difference between a linear path and a zoned world. Games like EQ and CoX are zoned worlds; you can go anywhere inside the zones, but if you wish to explore more of the game you have to exit through certain exit-ways, and wait for the game to load that certain area of the game. A game that is linear and instanced is something like GWs. You gain your own separate map when you play, and the quests force you to move a certain pathway. I like this sort of gameplay but then again, AoC isn't GWs. It would simply not work for 80 levels, which is why I'm glad the game is not linear, or at least not in the sense of what people are thinking of "linear". I would not be aloud to give proof of this being true or false, as it is against the NDA (technically I'm breaking it by just telling you this) so really, it's kind of pointless for me to put my knowledge on this matter... you will basically find out like the rest of us on release (or May 10th by the earliest).

Two things.

1. I have no alliation with FC at all. I won a contest they had at xmas just gone, I've been following the game for a while now, I enjoy the lore and the way the game is shaping up.

2. I detest / hate NDA breakers. If I see someone I will report them - any game - simple as that. If you have been around these forums since the creation of that beta leak site posting 3 month outdated info and passing it off as legit - which causes people to come and spread the same crap here. I will 1. report the post and 2. provide info to the contrary to dispell it by correct means. What usually happens is we have people who create account, post out the blue with all the fake info. Lets see we have people say there wont be sieges, spellweaving, crafting, xbox360 version out 1 week after PC version, Combat system is only 3 directions, no mounts etc etc all utter nonsense.. So it ends up with the troll poster getting abusive. More often than not the whole thread gets deleted, case in fact my rank score on here is like 1 because all the posts got deleted, because it was easier for the mod to wipe the lot. Be under no illusions, the posters who got banned got banned for a reason, got banned for posts on threads before I even responded. If people cant back up what they say then its all non constructive hot air. I was brought up to stand up for what I believe in, I think this game has great prospects, I'll debate points on all aspects and relate to common issues all the time. Anyone want to post one lines like the "game is shit" and think its ok? its not ok.

Who what where got banned?

As for thread topic:
