I think you can tell by my sig which I have been sporting on these forums for a year or so.. how I feel about SC2. Even if it was SC but with new graphics it would be a hit.. but we get so much more.. just cant wait. Company of Heroes is getting boring now.. need a new RTS fix. I hope Blizzard have a big announcment at blizcon next month.. like Beta or a release date. |

at first i wasnt much into sc2 thinking (sc1 was good but sc2 will just be a copy) but then i realised with the publicity that sc2 is getting because the devs are blizzard that sc2 will have a pretty good player base causing a lot of competition + a lot of good times |

I'm SO looking forward to StarCraft 2. Blizzard's RTS games have always been top-notch. As for Dawn of War 2? I don't see any reason not to get both games, so that's what I'm gonna do. |

For the Horde! |
Blizzard are taking their time with it and that's a very good thing. I'm always skeptical about a Bizzard release, I know I shouldn't be by now, but I always imagine it will never be as good as the hype. I'm not a hardcore SC player, I did the main campaigns, not the expansion, and thats it. I like RTSs but I always get pwned online, mostly because I play them too late when everyone is too good already. I'm more of a turn-based strategy kind of guy, but I'm definately looking forward to this game. |

If there's a reason not to get Dawn of War 2, that would be it. The first Dawn of War had a very weak single player component compared to Blizzard's RTS games, and unless they're planning to change this for Dawn of War 2, you shouldn't bother with it. Relic focuses on the multiplayer aspect, which they do quite well. Blizzard manages to do both aspects quite excellently. |
