Well thats good :) 2 to 1 for i see it differently :) but even at 2 to 1 for such a hyped game is not very good. It could have had a HUGE player base but i m starting to think it won t. I m having a hard time even logging in it just frusterates me. I ve seen people post tweaking guides etc like turn off 1 proc etc , to me that makes no sense but oh well to each their own. Hope you all have fun in AOC i regretably cancelled my pre order and wait on purchase to a later date.

Really though if having a huge fan base requires a game as dumbed down as WoW then I hope that every MMO i'm looking forward to for the rest of my life does not have a huge fanbase...

EQ or even UO in it's early stages didn't have a huge fan base, but they were far better experiences in my eyes then anything with a huge fanbase. 

The best music, movies, and games in my eyes are the ones that don't grow a huge fanbase...  Not because I don't like things with a huge fanbase, but the huge fanbase likes things that are either too simple, repetitive, or formulaic.

I'm not saying AoC won't be those things because I don't have any clue what it is going to become.  I can only hope that it becomes something great and I could care less how many other people get to experience the greatness along side me.

That suck man, but hope to see you or any 1 ingame down the road. it mite take a lil time for some players but  this will be a great game with lots of plyers playiny it.

A few months ago based on hype I was one of those that thought that this game might top 500k subs but right now I seriously doubt that if performance isn't a night and day difference at release that this game will do good to hold on to 100k of subscriptions. Oh well there is still Stargate Worlds and WAR, I sure hope that Mythic and Cheyenne don't release way too early like Funcom looks destine to be doing.

You gotta format this.  I'm sorry that you experienced that, but I gotta say that something is wrong with your system.  512 mb Nvidia, but do you have like 1gig ram?  SDRam?? 

I have a 640 mb NVidia w/4 gig ram and 2.66ghz dual core processor and the game runs on Medium-High settings at a constant 60fps, only dropping into the 40's with 6+ people on screen fighting.  I have tweaked the settings to get the most out of what I like and reduce things I don't care about but what you are describing... there is something else going on.

I hope that the information, tutorials, guides, and help becomes more streamlined and unnecessary so that people in your situation can better figure out the problem to get it to run better.

1st of all i think this game looks pretty sweet but it is definitely to early to be calling it game of the year. More importantly I hope to God this game isin't  a WoW killer (which it won't) since a WoW killer is going to get a lot of people from the WoW community and that's the main reason i left WoW was because i could feel my IQ dropping reading general chat. If WoW never dies that be great, and if it does it won't happen beacause of  AOC.

My main concern for WAR...
