Thats actually rather funny. If they didnt think they could hook you on the game with a free trial why would they offer it? Same goes for deciding its not your cup of tea based off the free trail. If you dont like the starters because they taste bad, why in your right mind would you think the main course is going to be any better? Same can be said the other way around, just because the "starters" where good, doesnt mean the main course is going to be great. As to judging if you will like it or not without playing it and being an elitist snob is just a pathetic statment. If you do your research you can decide if its for you or not without ever playing a single second of it. I would call it smart, not elitist. You do NOT need to try everything in life to know if you like it or not. To state an elitist doesnt like MMO's in the first place is again, laughable. Old school MMO's (UO, EQ, AC) where the perfect games for elitists and MMO's. |

If you have never played wow, I can really recommend it. Its easy and fun to play, has lots of content, etc. When you hit 70 and are not in a serious raiding guild or you dont like to play arena games day in day out you are pretty fucked. It will be repetitiveness in its purest form. The introduction of daily quest in every part of the game (PVE, professions, PVP, Bg's, etc.) is cause you wouldnt find any group for anything to do. Cause of lack of grouping actions and open world pvp blizzard was forced to channel all the remaining ppl who are willing to group up to certain dungeons, Bgs and pvp areas. Dont quite understand the arguments about that the game starts at lvl70. Well the grind for points and badges starts by doing repetitive runs, activities, etc. If you are lucky you get into a raiding guild and have fun doing 25man raids for a while until this gets boring aswell. |
