Yeah it's just you or people like you.  I'm not having these video issues other than black screen.  For that just open up the config app where you can change settings and take it off widescreen.  Keep full-screen.

Same for me the first time but worked in 1680x1250 when i restarted the game. Did u try to run it again with the same settings, seems like it was just the first time all turned out black, atleast for me.

Heyy guys,

My age of conan experence has been fine soo far all the advertisments and the opening cinamtic are runing as smooth as silk :)

My specs are

AMD athlon x2 5200+ dualcore

2gb ram ddr2 677

8800gt

vista-32bit

And for the people who are geting black screens with just there curser on it, go into  the age of conan file and go into systemconfig and change to windowed mode worked for me:)
