For those mentioning this is already in the game, not it is not. There is an option to turn off nipples - but you still see naked breasts. Please see the petition before responding ignorantly. I'm not starting this petition mindlessly :P - I played the PvP Beta and hope to provide an update after the regular beta as well.

There are a lot of gamers who would like an option to turn off all nudity in Age of Conan, and so I have created an online petition for gamers to sign if you think this is a reasonable suggestion so that the developers can get a sense of the appeal/requests for this.

The game director has said the following:
"we will err on the side of caution in terms of how we display nudity in the game. b) It is up to you what you want to see in terms of violence (fatality deaths) and nudity in the game. I have started a petition to make sure the developers of the game add this option, as having an option to turn off nudity does not affect those who want to experience the game with nudity, and even increases their player base.

It's already done, in screenshots etc. It's an option in the settings to turn on/off nudity and blood.

So blood and guts and decapitation and dismemberment are all fine and dandy but some titties are petition worthy?

While your at it, why not a toggle for weapons and/or death too? 

if your too young or god fearing for blood and nudity then maybe AoC isn't for you...

Ever read the Conan books? Howard had quite a lot nudity and gory violence in them. The game is suppose to be as close as the books as possible and I can tell you that there is quite a few immoral stuff in it. To censor the game is hardly want Howard would have wanted so I'm against it, is lot of other nice game with less violence and no nudity in them.

And whats wrong with nudity anyways? Violence is one thing, I can understand that people are against that.

Well I for one am God Fearing so I suppose AOC is not for me guess ill be waiting for a good SciFi mmo to come one day . I just cannot make myself play too many more Fantasy based games anymore. I like it simple if I see a game that does not appeal to me I just simple do not buy it. I most certainly am not going to start a petition or some stuff like that . Let people play what they want imo.

One of the vices of this world that I really hate is hypocrisy. Prime example is this thread.

And yes, you can toggle gore/nudity/whatever on/off.

I'm not really sure this game is for the hardcore Christian types.  I mean, didn't Jesus teach non-violence (except for when moneylenders are in the temple :P )?

I'm trying to steer you away from the game because I am afraid your type are just going to call for the omission of everything that makes Conan Conan- brutal humanity, blatant sexuality, demons and devils and impossible horrors from worlds long forgotten...

LOL.....Boobies and gore are the only reasons why all these teen-aged computer geeks are foaming at the mouth to play AoC. You're petition will fail for 2 reasons......#1 is because it's the only reasons why people would want to play it and #2 as someone already said it's already been implemented (Not that anyone who would play AoC would even think about switching them off).

Guys don't give him/her a hard time cause he/she is Christian, I personally don't believe or fall under any religion but it is his/her right as a customer to turn off offensive material.
