i go to the site about a min after comrade notifys since i was heating up pizza and i get no download button or anything WTF?!

don't depend on Comrade. half the time it sends out late alerts.

I work from home

- I didnt have Comrade installed for 1st batch

but I did see Comrade *timely* notices for Batches 2, 3, 4 

--- and I got in with Batch 2

Comrade has around 1 minute delay but still gives you plenty of time to get a key if you are at your computer when it notifies you.

Yesterday had only 2 batches, today has 3

-- the batches may be smaller today

Yeah Comrade has about a minute or two delay. Though the page seems to go up a minute or two before the tick of another hour.

Best bet is to be around during the "Coming Soon" hour  the minutes before the next hour, and click like a madman.

So I just got Comrad, do I just wait for teamfileplanet to notify me? ive been hearing that if you really want into beta to keep on refreshing.....what do i refresh and how?

if the batch says coming soon --- doing refresh with F5

of this site is the most timely (and annoying method)

Make sure you are logged into Fileplanet and wait on the page. As Nadia said, once you see 'Coming Soon' get ready to refresh. Approximately 1 hour after 'Coming Soon' tag went up that the batch was ready for distribution.

I was doing a refresh every 2-3 minutes and after one F5 the page hesitated during load so I knew I was in. All the keys (no idea how many) were gone in less than 5 minutes.

For me Comrade chimed in about a minute after my refesh had me in and the keys were gone 2-3 minutes after that (maybe a bit less).

I got lucky this morning. I usually leave for work around 8-8:30 am cst but this morning a friend of mine and I were talkin about this beta. When I logged on to fp, I saw the "coming soon" on the window. I told myself I will give it till 9 am and then Im leaving. Just when 9am hit, it still wasnt up. I grabbed my keys to goto work and figured I would give it 1 last shot b4 I left and as soon as I hit refresh, the window pops up about getting the key. I almost shit my pants. I got the key, started downloading the client and went to work.

yeah I think the whole fileplanet thing is a complete joke. I ALREADY PAY FOR MY FOUNDER CLUB MEMBERSHIP and yet I have to refresh some stupid page with no real point ( hint: they're not even doing ads on this page ) to get a key. Just send me the[MOD EDIT] key and quit wasting my time sending me stupid emails about a page that "might" distribute a key.

No.  If you'd calm down and take the time to read you'd know to install Comrade and let it run in the background to alert you when a new batch is ready live.
