Is the client from the pvp weekend usable for the upcoming open beta, or do we need to download a new client from Fileplanet? |

No it is not since the pvp one was only about 6 gigs and the fileplanet one i am downloading is about 12. But I am wondering if I can use OB client for my 3 day early access. |

Requires a new download if I understand, sadly. Feels sort of stupid to me, considering how large of a file it is... should be that you only need to add onto it but I guess it can't work that way. The weekend beta was only a small portion of what they have in their actual betas currently. Much more controlled. I believe they mentioned this in the client's updater as well, something along the lines of "this client will not function similar to the technical or general beta", something along those lines. If anyone can tell me differently please do so, because 'm not 99% positive on this issue. |
