Hillarious, If the developers have a plan which means Private Beta/ Closed who are any of us to judge that it is not the right way. Give us all a break ...

The seven year comment is a load of rubbish and not relative to reality or a a comparrison of any relevance to other games as they all have different staffing and investment levels.. A concept maybe 7 years but real development I dont think so.

NO shame with respect to ? The developers if they know they are right would have no shame... why would they respond to nobodys... or people who insult them for no good reason they are more likely laughing and thinking what idiots... Whilst respecting the people who support them.

Either way good on the Developers/ and shame on the poor souls who for some reson think they are owed

That's a hilarious article.  Mostly because it's probably right about Darkfall.

Well they must be doing something, they released new screenshots on the 28th March 2008, with character models in, so obviously they are working, just its a monster of a game and they want to make it a killa game instead of a rushed peice of junk. Looks that it will need a computer that can handle Crysis to be fair tho, all those flowers on the ground and trees and the amount of detail on the character models, maybe they have to wait till computers can handle the game? :P

A concept for over seven years... but the first beta announcement was 2003. For the announcement to have been made in 2003, development must have been quite advanced. Therefore, using the most conservative of estimates, Darkfall has been in development for over five years.

What a rip. Third? DF should have been at least 2nd on that list!@ Ok, so Duke Nukem Forever and Ever is No. 1 one... nobody can dispute that. But DF is easily No. 2.

DF fans should rise up and ^#%$^&@.

Let them know that Darkfall deserved better than third!
