I admit. I totally bashed the heck out of VG for months after releas, becuase of a broken heart. Why the emo? the hype promised everything I wanted in a game, but as we all know the issue it was at launch, and even months after word With all that being said, and my formal apology for ripping VG for months on end, I am wondering how the game is coming along, or if at all it has. I am getting a new rig *hopfully* when us in the US get our tax rebate checks and the first thing I am going to do is get me a rig built and the first game that will be installed is VG. I want to see it on the lvl I could not afford to at launch. With the release of the 9800 card series, you can get a 8800 for $150 now, and probably less in the future. So I will be running one if not two of them, with a new processer and good ram |

IMHO this game has come a long way since it's crash(i mean release) and is running quite well on my system i get the occasional lag in the city's but it is to be expected with a lot of players running around e.t.c and to be honest with you i cant think of 2 many games that dont have lag in the big city's well maybe the exception of WoW but i could run that game on my overclocked Atari lol i have all graphics maxed on my 8600gt (only 1 of them ) and the game runs smooth as i have noticed a lot of low lvl people of late im not sure if they are new to the game or just alts but it has been healthy with peeps on Xeth. In all honesty what have you got to lose even if it is not up to your expectations atleast you will have a nice new rig for some of the other potential flops about to be released. Im happy with the performance of this game now and i am sure a lot of others are aswell. |
