If WAR is everywhere why aren''t I in beta yet?

Naturally I am excited about WAR as you are.

But , to tell you the truth i am quite disapointed by classes they chose for the game.

Take Dwarfs... So yes , Dwarfs are about only ones that have all 3 classes that are taken straight out WH miniatures. Hammerers, Ironbreakers and Engeners.

But where are the SLAYERS !?

Could you do dwarfs and skip the coolest class (even featured in WAR opening cutscene)

... ok so no slayers...

Take Orc

Why Squig herder ? Why not Boar boyz , or Wolf riders. Even why not Goblin fanatics ?

...

Empire

Who the hell are Witch hunters ?!?!

...

List goes on.

First off I don't mean to nitpick or anything but there are 4 classes per race.Beyond the fact that Slayers are rare they don't wear any sort of armor.  This kind of makes it hard for them to have any gear without going  against the established lore.  So Mythic chose classes that wouldn't give as much of a headache when it came to development.

How would you design 40 levels of abilities, morale, and tactics for a goblin fanatic?  Don't they spin in circles until they DIE?!?  It would be like making Chaos Spawn a class.

There are tons of warhammer classes that are cool to play, some are more or less appropriate for a game. Slayers and especially fanatic are two cases of not so appropriate classes to play, as both of them tend to die really fast and are not really integrated in their own society to begin with.

Witch hunters are extremely popular in the warhammer world. The miniature part of the world does not have them yet for the fantasy part, but they do exists in the WH40k part and in numerous other spin off (like mordheim for example and the RP game).

Officially they are a sect of Sigmar's cult (Templars of Sigmar is their official name) so "brothers" of the Warrior priests.

No idea what Ano wanted to say about, the Vatican? wha? what hidden class?
