Let me tell you something, race does matter- Wrong, how do you explain the asian guy sitting in the office next to me, the 7 african american guys sitting out in the cubicles outside my office, and the 100 or so indians (true indians from india) working down on the 4th floor all making very good pay? OH that's right they technically shouldn't be allowed to try for a better job or something because they aren't white or some crap.....

wrong, sex does matter - ummm wrong again, my wife has a damn good paying job, all my friends wives have damn good jobs, the company I work for half the engineering team are women... I fail to see how sex really affects what you can do in life?

and social background definitely does matter. - ummm this one is very very wrong... as it is illegal. Companies cannot discriminate against you for social background... last I check none of those questions were on an application... Unless congress changed some law I haven't heard about. They can't ask you if you homosexual, they can't ask you where you go clubbing, they can't ask you any social questions at all.... This really doesn't matter.

That a minority is a success story doesnt make them the rule. - Speaking of which last time I checked minorities have it WAY easier now in the US than anyone else. Immigrants to the US get away with murder most of them pay no property taxes, they get interest free loans for business, and get breaks on everything... Ever wonder why EVERY 7-eleven you enter is owned by an Indian or an Asian... or an African... not African American but true African. Now you know. Not to mention I have little to no sympathy for minorities either. It is 2008 everyone is treated the same for the most part. If your speaking from the only 2 minorities I know of that seem to get the shaft, Mexicans and African Americans... They really don't mexican's come here and do quite fine if they do it the right way, if not they make $4.00 an hour on a farm somewhere which matters not to me because $4.00 is feeding his family pretty well back in mexico. As far as African Americans go... well they are split, many bust ass and get out of the ghetto and make it. I know MANY who have (im from the streets of new orleans so trust me on this ). The rest are all aspiring rappers who won't make it to 50 cent status or waiting for that reparations check that is never coming, nor deserving. That is a whole other issue tho not suited for a gaming forum.

Do you go around looking down at the homeless cause they are homeless? - Yes, I do. I absolutely detest the homeless. I have never met a change begging homeless that couldn't get his ass to a shelter and find people to help them get their lives back. The US has many programs in place for just that, places for these people to take showers, get a suit of cloths, and workers to help them find jobs.

It is easy to sit there, at the top giving a flying crap in the poor. - The poor are poor because they don't want to be anything less.

They've experienced so many blows in life that they have given up. - Well just like anything in life if you give up then you've already lost. Half this planet have been delt the shitty hand at least once in life, if we all gave up, we would all be homeless and would be no need for jobs.

Do you look down at crackheads and addicts cause they use drugs? - Are you serious right now? You ever had someone hold a gun to your head and say here smoke this pipe, or here drink this 5th of vodka? Seriously, it is their own fault for becoming that way.... No one is beyond help or hope, they are addicts because they choose to be, and yes I look down on them.

Most got tricked at a young age, or just where too curious and didn't know better. They go around today, most of the time oblivious at their surroundings. Should we not take pity on them and try to help them? - Your right some did, and for those it is a shame, I do believe they should be helped, but ultimately it is their decision you cannot help those who do not want to be helped.

Sad part is they just don't want to. There is always a means for those who wish to look for it.

If someone really can't afford $50 to play a game, they should probably be out looking for work instead of spending hours playing a MMO......

I have a suggestion to you. Go to a homeless shelter and sit down and talk with some of the people there. You would be surprised at some of the stories you would be served. Maybe your skewed world view would be in for a rude awakening then.

By his definition, his mother was a loser and scum of the earth because she was poor.  She likely COULDN'T get a better education because she was too busy working one or more jobs and taking care of the kids. 

Is that her fault?  Maybe dad left, maybe he died.   Maybe she was just a slut who had too many crotch droppings.  She ended up in a bad situation either way and there wasn't a damn thing she could do about it while trying to just put food on the table and keep a roof over her precious crotch droppings head.

I'm glad your mother get her RN license.  Yay for her.   But it also took 17 years while raising the two of you and if you ask her, I doubt she'll say she had any choice and did the absolute best she could.  Which obviously wasn't good enough as evidenced by your attitudes here.

My mother did get an education, while supporting 2 kids, which further strengthens my belief in what I say, I say all these things because I did live it. I have seen it, My father is a deadbeat to this day.

My mother is one of my heroes, she didn't quit and go to a homeless shelter, she got a job and when that wasn't enough she got another one, and still managed to get a nursing degree.

You are the ones that sadden me to be an american, lazy good for nothing full of excuses as to why you can't get a job, or why you can't go to school, and why all the worthless waste of space in a homeless shelters needs to be cried and taken care of.
